Cool out & rehydrate with this tasty treat during the next hot spell. Pineapple, melon, papaya, lemon & lime are fruits that clear summer heat. The ginger & cardamom help our digestion of the increased quantity of Cool, Damp foods & fluids we consume during the hot weather.

Other foods that help with the heat include barley, quinoa, corn, mung (beans, sprouts or silver thread, translucent noodles), soy sprouts, lentils, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumber, jicama, white mushrooms, zucchini, summer squash, and winter melon.
