The Integral Way
The Integral Way is a path of ancient lineage that encompasses all facets of human experience as beings of body, mind and spirit. Also referred to as Tao, but not affiliated to any religious group or limited by merely a philosophical approach, it aims to empower each individual to attain their highest potential and enjoy a life of health and happiness. The arts of Qigong, Meditation, Eastern Nutrition, Healthy cooking, I Ching, Acupuncture & Traditional Asian Medicine, Feng Shui, and the classical art & science of the far East are among the many gifts emerging from this tradition. All of these subjects are spokes on the wheel of the holistic path of a natural healthy life. These single tools have great practical value. To understand them fully and reap the most benefit however, one needs to understand the laws of natural energy and self-cultivation upon which they are based.

Chi Rivers Monthly Study Group – online via Zoom, 1st Fridays, 7-8pm CET
moderated by Peter F & Claire C Cunneen
Meeting for one hour, one Friday evening per month, the first Friday unless otherwise noted, we read, contemplate & discuss the meaning and application of this ancient wisdom to our modern lives. Our study is based on books in English written, translated, or elucidated by Hua-Ching Ni and his sons, Dr Mao Shing Ni and Dr Dao Shing Ni. Each participant is invited to read one or more pages, then all are welcome to share comments or questions on the text. Everyone is encouraged to draw from their own experience to make sense and derive value from the readings. In this way we all receive group support to further our integration and adaptation of the natural illumination and guidance of the text.

New Year – new book cycle – ordering the book
Our new reading cycle begins Friday, February 6, 2026, with the book, The Gate to Infinity by Hua-Ching Ni. Everyone needs their own copy of the book to participate in the readings. Many prefer having a physical text that you can notate in. We will make a group order (saving on tax & shipping) for those local who will arrange to pick it up from us here in Geneva (confirm reservation via the form below by November 15 please); otherwise, purchase the text or E-book from the publisher at taostar.com or try your luck at Amazon.

The Gate to Infinity, Realizing your ultimate Potential
This is a book for all who still have faith that there is a way to discover and develop themselves without having to go against what their own common sense tells them is natural. It is a book for people who are mature enough to understand that what is natural for one person can be unnatural for another, what is natural for one place and time can be unnatural a thousand years later half-way around the world as well as a hundred years where it first began.

The Gate to Infinity guides you to a gentle path for a long climb. There are switchbacks that afford different views and quiet stretches in which one becomes aware of the process of setting one foot in front of another and the direction in which one is going. There are moments of wonder and delight, and there are gradually developing thoughts which come from keeping company with someone devoted to a natural life of spiritual self-development and service.

This gateway does not lead to a stultifying system or institution that leads people nowhere as they march quickly in place. Rather, the depths of spiritual life can be learned from Nature, who has never yet demanded vows of poverty or renunciation from anyone or anything. Reading this book will expand your horizons and bring great benefit to your life.
