Shielding Meditation
The Shielding Meditation guided by Dr Mao will help you create around you an energetic level of poise that will inspire you to relax. If you are relaxed and poised, your immune system will naturally be better supported.  Being calm, you will better cope with the current crisis. Studies show that meditation practice can optimize physiological functions including the immune system. Dr. Mao shares a simple meditation practice from the Taoist tradition that was originally developed to help one shield from negativity as well as pathogens. This is timely for the pandemic crisis we are facing today.

Together, we will connect with not only our own breath and use the power of our quiet focus and visualization, but also extend our heart to embrace the universal healing light exemplified by our sun of course, but also by the light of the stars, in particular by the light of the guiding North Star. In Qigong meditation or exercise, we are an integral part of nature and we nurture our inner being as well as our living connection with the natural world and the cosmos.
